Using DealSignals
Where should I start each day?
Begin by reviewing Today's Hot List.
The Hot List highlights the highest-priority leads and opportunities based on recent property signals and Intent Scores, helping you focus on the prospects most likely to convert.
What is an Intent Score?
An Intent Score helps prioritize prospects based on the property signals associated with a record.
In general:
Higher scores indicate stronger or multiple seller signals.
Lower scores may indicate fewer or less significant indicators.
Use Intent Scores to determine which prospects to contact first.
Can I still work my normal leads?
Yes. DealSignals complements your existing lead generation efforts by helping you prioritize outreach and identify new opportunities. It does not replace your current sales process.
What happens after I contact a prospect?
After making contact, mark the record as Contacted.
This helps your team:
Track outreach efforts
Avoid duplicate follow-up
Report on response times and engagement
What does Snooze do?
Snooze temporarily removes a record from your active Hot List when a prospect is not ready to sell.
The record will return after the selected period or sooner if a new property signal is detected.
Working with Records
Does DealSignals update my existing records?
Yes. If DealSignals identifies new seller signals for a matching record, it can enrich that lead or opportunity record with the latest property intelligence.
Can DealSignals create new records?
Yes. Depending on your organization's configuration, DealSignals can create new Prospect records when qualifying property signals are detected.
Will I receive duplicate records?
DealSignals is designed to enrich existing records whenever possible. However, duplicate prevention depends on your organization's matching rules and Salesforce configuration.
If you are seeing unexpected duplicates, contact your Salesforce Administrator.
Best Practices
How often should I review DealSignals?
For the best results, review your Hot List each business day and prioritize outreach based on the highest Intent Scores.
Should I contact every record that appears?
Not necessarily. DealSignals helps prioritize leads and opportunities, but your team should still use its judgment based on available property information, ownership details, and your organization's outreach strategy.
What if a prospect is not ready to sell?
Use Snooze instead of ignoring the record.
This keeps your Hot List organized while ensuring the prospect resurfaces for future follow-up when appropriate.
Troubleshooting
Why do I not see DealSignals?
If you do not see the DealSignals app, Dashboard, or related components:
Verify that DealSignals has been enabled for your organization.
Confirm you have the appropriate permissions assigned.
Contact your Salesforce Administrator if you still cannot access the feature.
Why does a record not show any seller signals?
Not every property will have active seller signals. DealSignals only displays information when qualifying property events have been identified for a record.
Why did a record appear on my Hot List again?
A record may return to your Hot List if:
A new seller signal was detected.
Your Snooze period expired.
The property's Intent Score increased based on new information.
