Cadence Automations Feature Overview
Overview
Cadence automations allow Left Main to automatically manage Cadence Library enrollment throughout a record's lifecycle. Instead of manually adding, stopping, or switching cadences, administrators can configure automation rules that ensure the right cadence is applied at the right time.
Cadence automations support multiple Left Main objects and can automatically enroll records, transition them between Cadence Libraries, and stop active cadences based on configurable business events. This reduces manual work, creates more consistent follow-up processes, and minimizes the need for custom Salesforce Flows.
To help organizations transition safely, Cadence automations include an Automation Readiness Check that identifies existing Salesforce Flows that may overlap with the automations before they are enabled.
Who is this for?
Cadence automations are designed for Salesforce Administrators and Operations teams responsible for managing communication workflows within Left Main.
This feature is ideal for organizations that want to:
Reduce manual cadence enrollment
Standardize follow-up processes
Replace or simplify custom Salesforce Flow automations
Automate communication across multiple stages of the customer lifecycle
When should you use it?
Use Cadence automations when you want Left Main to automatically manage cadence enrollment and transitions without requiring users to manually assign Cadence Libraries.
This feature is especially useful when:
New records should automatically begin a communication sequence.
Records need to move into a different cadence as they progress through your sales process.
Active cadences should stop automatically when a record reaches a specific milestone.
You want to create continuous nurture journeys by automatically chaining Cadence Libraries together.
You want to reduce reliance on custom Salesforce Flow automation.
Key Capabilities
Cadence automations provide the ability to:
Automatically enroll new Leads, Opportunities, Contacts, Transactions, and Interested Buyers into Cadence Libraries.
Route new Leads into different Cadence Libraries based on configurable business rules.
Automatically transition records into follow-up or appointment reminder cadences.
Stop active cadences when records reach selected statuses, stages, or lifecycle events.
Pause immediate outreach outside business hours while sending a configurable acknowledgment message.
Chain Cadence Libraries together to create continuous communication journeys.
Identify potentially conflicting Salesforce Flows with the built-in Automation Readiness Check before enabling automations.
When to Use It
Common use cases include:
Automating new lead follow-up by enrolling Leads into different Cadence Libraries based on Lead Source, Status, or Reason for Selling.
Sending appointment reminders by automatically switching Opportunities into an appointment reminder cadence when an appointment is scheduled.
Managing lifecycle communication by transitioning records into follow-up cadences as their status changes.
Preventing unnecessary outreach by stopping active cadences when a Lead converts, an Opportunity reaches a selected stage, or another business milestone is met.
Building long-term nurture journeys by automatically enrolling records into the next Cadence Library after the current one completes.
Replacing custom Salesforce Flows with native Left Main automation for easier administration and ongoing maintenance.
