Getting Started with the Investor Portal

Welcome to the Left Main Exchange Investor Portal.

This solution allows you to publish investment opportunities directly from Left Main REI while providing investors with a branded self-service experience for browsing properties, submitting offers, and managing transactions.


Step 1: Assign Portal Administrators

Assign the LMX AdminUser permission set to users responsible for configuring and managing the portal.

Verify

Admin users should now see the Client Portal tab within the Left Main+ application.


Step 2: Complete Client Portal Setup

Navigate to:

Left Main+ → Client Portal

Complete the Client Portal Setup process:

  • Enter your portal URL


Step 3: Configure Your Domain (Optional)

If using a custom domain:

  • Enter your desired hostname.

  • Copy generated DNS records.

  • Add records to your DNS provider.

  • Wait for DNS propagation.

Until propagation completes, your default LMX URL remains active.


Step 4: Configure Portal Branding, Portal Theme Color and Portal Home Page Copy

Customize:

  • Logo

  • Hero image

  • Brand colors

  • Hero headline

  • Hero supporting line

  • Why invest section heading

Preview changes before saving.


Step 5: Enable Portal Sync

Enable the Portal Sync Scheduler.

Recommended interval:

Every 5 Minutes

This ensures:

  • New investor registrations sync to Salesforce

  • Offers sync automatically

  • Interested Buyer records are created

  • Property engagement data remains current


Step 6: Add and Invite Admin Users

These should be Disposition Managers who will be managing transactions.


Step 7: Publish Your First Property

Navigate to a Transaction record. It is suggested to use a test record prior to inviting users to your portal.

Select:

LMX Actions → Publish to Portal

Review validation requirements and resolve any missing fields.

Confirm the property address and publish.


Step 8: Verify Investor Experience

Open your portal and confirm:

  • Branding appears correctly

  • Property is visible

  • Images load properly

  • Maps display correctly

  • Offer submission functions as expected


Step 9: Import Your Buyer Contacts

Login to the Investor Portal by clicking Admin Login at the bottom of the page

  • Prepare Buyer Contacts into a CSV file containing First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone Number (Optional)

  • Navigate to Manage Users

  • Click Import Users(CSV) button

  • Upload your CSV - All Users will be sent an email invitation to join your Investor Portal
