One-Time Setup Steps

  1. Lightning Email Template Builder Permissions

    a. To enable users to create new Lightning email templates using the drag-and-drop builder, admins must perform a one-time post-install configuration:

    1. i. Navigate to Setup

    2. ii. Search for and Select Permission Sets

    3. iii. Create a new Permission Set by clicking New Permission Set, set a name (e.g., “Template Builder”), and Save

    4. iv. Scroll to find System Permissions. In System Permissions, click edit and enable:

      • Access drag-and-drop content builder (Lightning builder access)

      • Manage Public Lightning Email Templates (ability to create templates)

    5. v. Save

    6. vi. Assign this Permission Set to any users who need to create or edit Lightning email templates. This will likely be all users who have the Left Main Cadence Permission Set.

    Notes:

    • This step is only for users who build templates; all other users can still use existing templates without the permission.

    • Without these permissions, attempts to create new Lightning email templates will result in Salesforce errors
