The Cadence Setup Wizard centralizes all configuration for Left Main Cadences into a single, guided interface inside the Cadence App Configuration app under the Cadences Setup tab. This eliminates the need to navigate Salesforce Setup or Custom Metadata for most actions.
Accessing the Setup Wizard
In Salesforce, open the App Launcher.
Search for and open Cadence App Configuration.
Select the new Cadence Setup tab.

Configuration Settings
Cadences Availability
This section controls activation for the Cadences feature.
The Cadence toggle serves as the master switch, determining whether the Cadence functionality is enabled or disabled for the organization.
Individual checkboxes provide channel-level control for Email, SMS, and Task Cadences.
Clearing a checkbox disables the corresponding channel while leaving the remaining Cadence types active.

Configure Default Outbound Phone Number for SMS
This section defines the default phone number used for outbound SMS messages sent through Cadences, as well as the sequence of fallback options.
The selected default serves as the primary “From” number for all SMS Cadences. If the default source is unavailable, the system automatically progresses through the defined fallback options in order.
Org-wide phone numbers are supported for smrtPhone, Dialpad, and CallRail integrations.
For Dialpad, the org-wide number must be linked to an existing user profile, which is selected within the setup interface rather than entered manually.

Configure Default Outbound Email Address
This section defines the default email address used for outbound scheduled email messages and provides the option to designate an org-wide email address as the sender.
By default, scheduled email Cadences are sent from the batch job scheduler user, configured in the backend. Adjustments to this user require coordination with the Customer Success team.
An org-wide email address may be configured as an alternative, allowing all Cadence emails to send from a single, centralized address. Org-wide addresses must be verified in Salesforce Setup, and the batch job scheduler user must have permission to use the address.
A direct link to the Salesforce Setup verification page is available within the Cadence Setup Wizard for convenience.

Configure Automations
This section contains toggles that control whether Cadences are automatically stopped based on specific lead status conditions.
Each toggle corresponds to a predefined stop rule that governs when active Cadences should stop automatically.
The final option in this list enables configuration of an additional rule to stop Cadences based on any custom status values defined within the organization.

Advanced Settings
Phone Number Fallback
This advanced setting determines whether the system uses the Mobile Phone field as a substitute when the standard Phone field on a record is unpopulated.
By default, Cadences reference the Phone field first for outbound messaging.
Enabling this setting allows the system to automatically use the Mobile Phone field when no value exists in the Phone field.
This configuration can be toggled on or off at any time by an administrator.

Outbound Message Time Zone
Messages containing Date/Time fields are shown in the recipient’s local timezone. The timezone is determined using the recipient’s City, State, and ZIP Code values.
If location data is insufficient to determine a timezone, an administrator can define a fallback behavior:
Use a fixed timezone applied consistently across all records, or
Use the sender’s timezone as the default reference.
